I have a deep connection to nature, animals and all things outdoors. The outdoors is my happy place, I love to explore places and gain new experiences with my family, it's even better if we have the chance to spot wildlife during that time together. When experiencing these adventures and moments with such important people and in my life I have grown to realize how important time is and that the days really do move quickly. Realizing this has made me appreciate the power of photography even more. Our cameras allow us to capture moments as they are and give us the ability to look back years from now, photos are there to remind us of special occasions, how much we have changed, how that cut happened on our leg and so much more. For as long as I can remember I have used photography as a way to capture moments that are special to me, I still have polaroid photos of all of my stuffed animals lined up on my bed and photos of my friends playing dress up with full faces of make up from when I was 10 years old. Photos like these hold a special place in my heart and this is why I was drawn to photography.

Those who are local to the Haldimand area may recognize me from local schools. I have spent nearly 10 years as an Educational Assistant. I have a big place in my heart for children, I have always been interested in watching each individual grow and learn in their own way while continuing to challenge themselves.
